Synopsis

Dr. McCoy Discovers his old flame is not what she seems after crew members begin dying from a sudden lack of salt in their bodies

Spoilers ahead warning

On to the next series a series I used to watch on tv late night back In the 80’s a show that I wanted to review for a while now so here the first episode of series called the man trap.

In this episode Dr. McCoy goes looking for a old flame he finds her but she has not age at all and one of crew members was found dead they go back to the ship trying to figure out what killed him also more crew members found dead as Nancy turn into a guy so is she a alien here I think well what ever it is on the ship and crew does not know that she one of there crew members she is something she change to any human crew member on the ship so I think this thing or she needs to live by drain salt from human body’s which is creepy.

4 crew members are found dead in this episode without salt in there body creepy
Also taking the form that something they found. Greene body and now figure out there something worst on the ship the woman figure takes the form of Dr. McCoy as he sleep so is this creature death and needs salt to live Kurt and Spock get back on ship and figure out some thing wrong with McCoy here well that not him but what they don’t know they are sitting next to him come on guys figure it out that creature is McCoy.

Well spook was the first to find out as he was hit from behind once the real McCoy he is not buying Nancy well took him a whole but after see her trying to go after the the captain here the true form of Nancy was revealed and boy was she ugly that indeed not human so McCoy had no choice but to kill that thing which was not Nancy after that everyone fine but not McCoy you have to feel sorry his old flame was a ugly monster or creature it was I guess the real Nancy died as episode ends with them moving on good ending like one bad moments are gone time to move on and well time to move on too the final thoughts.

Final thoughts

If this was the first episode sure it was creepy way to start off with a creature who drain humans mostly men the way it look why no woman I think man have more salt in them or something that why it feeds off men they did a good building up to the end as crew try to figure what creature was feeding off crew boy in the end they sure got one heck of surprise ugly looking creature that pretty good makeup there too overrate this was a good first episode of Star Trek here with what creature look like and cast did a wonderful job it great this series was part of childhood growing up in the 80’s and too end it last 15 mins prove me why this was show at late night take all.

Star Trek S1: E1 rating
