My Review
Finally back to another xena warrior Princess episode review episode 18 so here what think below of the episode.
I was thinking this had to be episode where gabby goes on her own for a bit I was right this is one so your see Lucy as xena a few times but the question is does episode hold up without xena being in it a lot I will give you my thoughts on well as that as well.
Episode starts off with xena and gabby almost killed by bad guys so gabby says she has to sort things out by going home without xena ok so she has to go alone without xena good lucky writers did not put her in danger as she made home safe but before she head home she run into a village where it was attack by a army which there next target not good news so should she go back and get xena will for now they said they hired one of top warriors in the land his Meleager the mighty who is played by get this Tim Thomerson which is something but the only problem he Is drunk most of time can gabby get him un drunk in time to face the bad guys and also question is does he want to fight.
After 20 mins have to say build up a little slow when he is drunk half episode also gabby may not be giving welcome home her sister does complain about her being gone don’t blame her a little bit of drama. The bad guys later talk to Meleager and offer him money to join him who knows a drunk Meleager could join but he does not finally the real Meleager is showing up this one they need but hopefully he can stay that way before they get attack unfortunately when the bad guys show up here no Meleager and no money so question is did he just take the money and run look like it.
Well him being gone it up gabby and her village to fight and Gabrielle tells them to fight back so how do they fight back they use traps some nice one worked the first but they regroup and was getting ready to attack Meleager show up and attack them like a true maybe he was warrior after all as he beat the bad guys in a good fight still miss xena but Meleager is ok if he not drunk that for sure.
Now the question is does she go back to xena or stay well her sister help her out on that so does she goodbye to Meleager nope his part is over as Gabrielle heads back on road to meet up with xena again just as she getting close at same spot where the episode start with rolling logs but this time she made one heck of jump and look like bad guys we’re going to go after her that one xena show up and scared off them I know she would she show up as episode ends with xena and Gabrielle back on the road as episode ends.
Final thoughts
A good episode of xena here not a whole lot of but some how this episode did not suck with her not being in it a lot and then force on Gabrielle story and going home help her out some and her sister did that as well lilla Is a good sister also did I like the Meleager story it was ok I thought Tim Thomerson Is cool he is good at acting so far cool he appear in this episode as well but the whole drunk thing was little bit we don’t want 20 mins of him drunk but least at end it payed off but after he win he just disappeared so you just going not include him at the end ok can of silly as well anyway it ended nice too even though xena was not in a lot I will say in the end I did enjoy this one as well talk to next time and have a good night.
